Chelsea have pipped London rivals to the signing of Andrej Kramaric, according to the Daily Star.
The Rijeka forward’s impressive form has recently earned him a call up to the Croatia national team, which has consequently caught the eye of a number of top European clubs.
But Peirpaolo Marino, sporting director of Italian side Atlanta, who were also chasing his signature, has confirmed Kramaric has opted to join Chelsea this January.
He said: “I believe that he is signing for Chelsea. He is a player we have followed for a long time.”
Tottenham were also reportedly in the race to sign the youngster, but it appears Jose Mourinho’s Blues have won the race to bring the young wonderkid to the Premier League this winter.
