Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has identified Manchester City outcast Steven Jovetic as a shock potential addition this summer according to The Daily Star.
The Montenegro international was a star at Fiorentina but struggled to assert himself at the Etihad Stadium due to a host of injuries and extreme competition for places.
Jovetic has spent this season on loan at Inter Milan, who have a clause in his deal at the San Siro to sign him permanently come this summer.
However, Conte has reportedly got the eastern European in his sights and will look to bring him to Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.
The Italian trainer is expected to make a number of acquisitions from Serie A after his experience of working there with Juventus.
The Blues will surely splash the cash before the 2016-17 campaign gets underway, with potential for Jovetic to be one of the new faces to arrive.
