Chelsea’s John Terry and Didier Drogba had nothing but kinds words to say to their former team mate Frank Lampard despite the fact that his goal cost their team all three points against Manchester City.
When the former Blues hero stepped on the field as a substitute, there were cheers from both sets of supporters as Lampard revealed after the match that after he scored the equalizer, he was feeling a bunch of mixed emotions.
Droba posted: This man… Showed again why he’s my idol!!! True gentleman true leader true professional true scorer true blue!!! Good luck to you Legend!!!!!
Terry posted: It felt strange playing against Lamps today and seeing him in a Man City shirt,Unbelievable reception the Chelsea fans gave to a true Legend today that has Chelsea in is heart forever, I really hope Lamps gets the opportunity to receive that reception at the Bridge one day. Good point today that keeps us 3 points clear at the top of the premier league.
