Chelsea fell to a humiliating 6-0 defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. A hat-trick for Sergio Aguero, a Raheem Sterling brace, and an Ilkay Gundogan strike constituted the Blues’ embarrassment.
The result sent Maurizio Sarri’s side down to sixth place in the Premier League, as their goal difference was damaged to such an extent that they slipped beneath Arsenal. The defeat also served to compound Chelsea’s away form woes, as defeats on the road to the Gunners and Bournemouth preceded this encounter with the reigning Premier League champions.
One man in particular who will want to forget this thrashing at the hands of City is Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The 24-year-old shot-stopper was beaten four times in the first half alone, and will certainly feel that he could have done more to keep out Gundogan’s strike.

After the game, plenty of Chelsea fans took to Twitter to discuss Kepa’s performance…
Kepa is at fault for Gundogan’s goal and partially for that Aguero’s wonder goal….. He could have done better

Kepa has the 2nd highest amount of clean sheets in the league? Doesn’t exactly make him bad does he?

Kepa was bad. I know that Aguero’s shot was tough but some keepers will save it.
