Chelsea are looking to lure Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos to Stamford Bridge by making contact with the defender’s agent, the Express reports.
The Spain international recently turned down a contract extension at Real, as he reportedly wants to be paid the same amount as team-mates Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.
This has therefore opened the door to a possible exit, with reports suggesting that the Blues are now negotiating with Ramos’ agent in the hope of bringing him to West London.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has the advantage of previously working with the former Sevilla star while the Portuguese boss was in charge of Real Madrid, and sees the 28-year-old as the perfect replacement for John Terry.
But Mourinho will have to move quick for his signature, with Premier League rivals Manchester United and the Gunners also circling as his contract negotiations with the European champions continue.
