Aside from being a pretty decent manager, Antonio Conte was a wonderful footballer in his day. A success story on the touchline with Juventus and Italy, Conte has arrived to save Chelsea Football Club from the chaos caused by Jose Mourinho last season.
The recovery job has begun against West Ham and Conte’s side are off to a flyer. Most importantly though, everyone has absolutely loved Conte’s cheeky little cushioned touch in his suave Italian suit on the touchline.
Suited and booted managers trapping clearances hoofed into their technical area always one of football's minor joys.

Naturally, everyone enjoyed a moment of such elegance from a man in a suit that probably cost more than the annual British salary. I, for one, can only dream of having shoes that fancy.
Huge cheers at Stamford Bridge as high, long clearance falls just over Bilic's head, then Conte controls it with one touch. Classy. #CFC

The Italian hasn’t taken long to make a lot of friends in the UK.
Conte has a better first touch than Lukaku

Antonio Conte needs to sub himself on for Oscar or Ivanović with a first touch like that.

Obviously Branislav Ivanovic still has to bear much of the brunt for his dodgy performances last season. Saying that, as Chelsea continue to stick with some rather indifferent performers, perhaps Conte could be their new signing?
