Happy Halloween everyone. And a big happy Halloween to Jose Mourinho in particular. Poor man. He’s been hassled and harried all week, and maybe he’ll even be shoved into his grave, the soil falling over his head, by the evening. He really does form part of the walking dead just at the moment.
Liverpool, on the other hand, are in party mode. Their new manager has Klopped his Premier League cherry, and what better place to celebrate your ‘first time’ than at the home of the Champions, however deposed they may be right now.
With two goals for Philippe Coutinho, the doubts about his ability to play in a Jurgen Klopp team have been silenced, and a goal for Christian Benteke continues his recovery from injury, and delights the Kop.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a clash at the top of the Premier League - or in this case, somewhere towards the bottom for one of the teams involved - without a lot of Twitter banter!
