Florent Malouda says that he has a number of options this summer, including some from the Premier League, according to reports from Goal.

Chelsea released the French winger earlier this month, after allowing his contract to expire following a long period away from the first-team.

After a rumoured move to QPR collapsed in January, speculation surrounding the 32-year-old’s future has been rife, although no concrete destination has been revealed.

But, Malouda says that he has plenty of options open to him, with teams in the Premier League having already made tentative approaches:

"I have been in Germany and I am in Ghana here. I will come out with the club I am joining when I end my holidays.” He said while on a visit to Ghana for the Michael Essien Foundation’s Charity Game.

"Some clubs in France, Brazil, the Premier League, and the Gulf have all expressed interest in signing me. I will sit down with my agent and we sort things out when I go."

Malouda failed to make a single appearance for the Blues last term, with both Roberto Di Matteo and Rafael Benitez opting to leave him out of the first-team plans.

A move away from the club over the winter was rumoured, but according to some reports the wide-man was unwilling to take a significant pay-cut to force through a deal.
