Eden Hazard has his first goal of the Premier League season! Yeah, it’s not that exciting really, but the Belgian managed to crash a penalty home just minutes into the second half as Chelsea took a deserved lead at Stamford Bridge.
After such an abysmal campaign last time around, Hazard was obviously desperate to find the net a fair bit quicker than he did last season.
Unfortunately, the Twittersphere wasn’t all that forgiving.
Congrats to Eden Hazard on scoring his first Premier League goal six months earlier than he did last season.

Guess that Hazard has probably had some sort of therapy to erase the memory of last season. Jose Mourinho truly scarred the poor winger, it seems.
Others were not talking about Hazard, but focusing on the questionable defending of West Ham’s Michail Antonio.
Idiotic defending from Michail Antonio. Essentially a free goal for Chelsea. #CHEWHU

Eden Hazard scored Chelsea's 5,000th top division goal. #CFC

Not sure if any of you actually care about this sort of thing, but it’s a handy bit of trivia if you ever find yourself at a Chelsea’s Supporters Club fundraiser, or something.
That goal hurts on multiple levels. Went without Hazard, benched Azpi.

Of course, there are always those that are focused on their fantasy troubles…
