Thierry Henry is considered a god at Arsenal, being the Gunners’ all-time top-scorer as well as holding the record for the most assists in a single Premier League season with 20.
However if Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas continues on his current form, then the Spaniard is on track to overtake the legendary Frenchman in assists by the end of the campaign.
Strangely enough no one has started a season providing goals for his team-mate better than, well, himself!
In the 2009-2010 campaign, Fabregas supplied 10 assists in just 11 games, but after was sidelined with injury for the majority of the season, ending up with only 13 for yes… Arsenal.
If the former Gunners captain can remain injury-free along with Diego Costa (who’s the one scoring from Fabregas’ passes) then the 20-assist mark doesn’t seem too difficult to hit.
