It’s been a rollercoaster few years for Cesc Fabregas. After being a star performer in Chelsea’s Premier League-winning campaign two seasons ago, the Spaniard came under heavy criticism last term and was attributed with playing a role in the downfall of Jose Mourinho.
Now, with Antonio Conte at the helm, Fabregas has struggled to find game-time in Chelsea’s new-look side and has started just once in the Premier League this season- a 3-0 defeat to his former employers Arsenal.
Fabregas’ lack of playing opportunities has led to intense speculation that he will leave West London in the upcoming transfer window, with the latest report stating AC Milan officials were in the capital on the weekend to enquire about the Spaniard’s availability.
All may not be as it seems, though, as a very close source to the Spanish midfielder has quickly ruled out a move on social media.
Daniella Semaan, the midfielder’s wife, has accused those responsible for the rumours of simply making things up, but maybe Fabregas just hasn’t spoken to her yet? That’s unlikely to be honest, as a happy wife is a happy life…
Is it that easy to make up stories these days ?? ???? https://t.co/ynPT0OPoTj
