Roma’s midfield juggernaut Radja Nainggolan has already been talking to close friends about a potential move to Chelsea this summer and is open to the deal, according to reports from the London Evening Standard.
The Belgian is thought to be a key name on Antonio Conte’s transfer wish-list, with the Italy coach already drawing up recruitment plans ahead of his, what many believe is likely, switch to Stamford Bridge to succeed Guus Hiddink.
Nainggolan, valued at around £35m by Roma, is understood to be a star the Azzurri boss is a big fan of, and could become the bedrock of a new look midfield in the west of London.
And reports claim that the player himself is aware of Chelsea’s interest.
It’s believed that the 27-year-old is open to a move to the Premier League, and has even mulled it over with close friends.
Nainggolan is known for his combative edge, tireless work rate and fierce will to win.
