48-goals-in-98-games superstar striker open to joining Conte’s Chelsea revolution

Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani is ready to listen to offers from Chelsea this summer, according to reports.

The Uruguay international has long been thought of as one of the planet’s most feared centre-forwards after establishing himself as a prolific marksman in Italy with Napoli.

His electric form alerted PSG in the summer of 2013, but ever since his move to the French capital Cavani has struggled to assert himself, often playing second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Despite this, the South American has still plundered 48 goals in 98 Ligue 1 matches, and has recently been outlined as one of the key names on Antonio Conte’s Chelsea shopping list.

And now reports from talkSPORT (citing Le 10 Sport) claim that the 29-year-old is keen to talk to the Blues, even though he had initially favoured a return to Serie A with Juventus.

It’s understood that the big TV deal in the Premier League and a potential huge salary has helped to sway his attention.
