Are Chelsea really in a relegation battle? Twitter thinks so!

A different Saturday evening, but a familiar story for Chelsea. Against a team who they really should be beating at home, a team whose injury problems have decimated a squad already thin on proven Premier League quality, Chelsea have been second best so far.

Frankly, Chelsea should be behind. And if they do win this game, they’ll still face the same problems between now and the rest of the season as they’ve faced so far in this campaign.

Chelsea v Bournemouth – LIVE

The last few games in which Chelsea have been undefeated have papered over some serious cracks. Chelsea haven’t played well all season, and that’s why they are where they are in the table.

In fact, even despite the unbeaten run, Chelsea are still being trolled by those who think they could be in a relegation battle – and given we’re already in December, it’s hard to argue with them!

Even their own fans seem to be resigned to self-trolling, it seems. Poor Chelsea. When will it all end? Well, they’re going to need to show some actual, convincing form before that!
