Robin van Persie vs Arsenal

The £22.5m transfer of Arsenal’s Robin van Persie to Manchester United was the biggest one in the summer of 2012 after the Dutchman clinched the golden boot, and it was credited as the main reason the Red Devils won the title a year later.

He didn’t take long to settle at Manchester, showcased by the fact that it took van Persie only three minutes to score against Arsenal and leave Wenger wondering how he can let a striker of van Persie’s calibre leave to a rival team.
