Chelsea have been flying high in the Premier League this season and the highlight of the campaign was certainly their 4-0 drubbing of Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Antonio Conte has led the side well since his arrival in the summer, with the Blues currently one point off the top of the table with 19 points, and the squad will be boosted shortly by the return of an injured player.
Young defender Kurt Zouma made his return for Chelsea last night, playing 45 minutes for their U-23 side, and is now on the verge of a full return with the first-team.
He still has the likes of Gary Cahill, John Terry and David Luiz to contend with for a starting spot but amidst rumours of Conte still wanting to sign a new defender, he could step-up and save the Italian boss some money.
Zouma, 23, earned words of support from new team-mate Michy Batshuayi, who celebrated the French defender’s return on Twitter.

Potentially a sign of a bromance on the cards that can rival the one was saw from Mesut Ozil and Mathieu Flamini previously at Arsenal, we can’t wait to see this pair of youngsters on the field together.
