Michy Batshuayi arrived at Chelsea with plenty of promise in 2016 when he finalised a £33m switch from Marseille.

The forward was unable to make an immediate impact, though, as he struggled to gain some regular game time.

In fact, the Belgian has only started three Premier League matches since moving to the West London outfit.

This season, Batshuayi has netted seven goals in 19 appearances in all competitions, but with Alvaro Morata first choice, it looks unlikely that the 24-year-old will get much joy when it comes to team selection.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has told reporters that he is "very happy" with the striker, but there are rumblings that the Belgian could be offloaded on a temporary basis.

According to HLN journalist Kristof Terreur, La Liga side Sevilla are keen on sealing Batshuayi's signature on a six-month loan.

The reporter, though, has claimed that the Blues will only consider agreeing an exit if they can find a replacement.
