Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Jeremie Boga, after he grabbed his seventh Serie A goal of the campaign with a stoppage-time winner against SPAL 2013 on Sunday.

The Chelsea academy graduate left the club to join Sassuolo in 2018, where he has since netted ten goals and recorded five assists in 50 appearances for the Italian club.

Nine of those goal involvements have come this season as Boga has scored seven goals and recorded four assists, and the Serie A side's president - Giovanni Carnevali - recently confirmed that the Blues have an option to buy the 23-year-old back in the summer if they wish to do so.

With Frank Lampard's wing options steadily declining - Willian will be 32 in August while Pedro will be 33 in the summer - there is certainly a need to freshen up that department, something that Boga's return would undoubtedly do given his age.

Let's see what the Chelsea fans on Twitter have been saying about their academy graduate, when asked if they would have him back...

To kick off the discussion, @Dylaixz said that they would definitely bring Boga back, while adding that the Ivory Coast international is "better than Willian any day" - a bold statement.

@SprightlyCFC then said that bringing the forward back to London is "a decision that requires no thought" and that it "has to be one of our summer activities".

Elsewhere, these two supporters both had some criticism for Boga - some constructive, some not.

@chris_chuka said that he "needs to improve on his decision making and end product" but conceded that he is a huge talent and he isn't sure why Chelsea sold him in the first place.

Daniel then said the attacker "isn't even that good" and people only want him back after watching one minute highlights of him - ouch.

Lastly, Conn said that re-signing Boga "makes too much sense" and asked where the risk in such a deal would be.

Someone's got to own them: Who do these incredibly unwanted PL records belong to?

'Inside Forward' then added that not re-signing the Sassuolo forward along with Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho to replace Pedro and Willian this summer "would be criminal".

In other news, these Chelsea fans have been discussing a player who is "the Hazard replacement that we need"...
