The 20th of February 2000 was a special day for John Terry as he bagged his first goal for Chelsea and effectively kickstarted what would turn into a glorious career at Stamford Bridge.
But fast forward to the present day and the illustrious defender is now an assistant manager at Aston Villa, a role he seems to be thriving in so far.
And even though he’s working in a completely different environment now at Villa Park, his past as a Blue is likely to remain the most memorable part of his career.
On the day of the anniversary of his first goal for the Blues, he commemorated the occasion with a message on Instagram.
Of course, Terry ended up scoring a total of 66 goals and adding another 29 assists in an incredible record of 712 games for Chelsea down the years.
And former Chelsea players Boudewijn Zenden and Marcel Desailly were also quick to post a reply to the Blues’ eternal captain, no doubt reminiscing on the good old days.
