It is a promising time to be a youngster at Chelsea at the moment.

Following the arrival of new manager Frank Lampard, it appears as though the club's young prospects could play a more prominent role than in recent memory, with Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi all included in the first-team squad for next season.

Of course, there isn't enough space for all of the promising academy talents who have come through the system at Stamford Bridge, and so some will still need to go out on loan to develop.
