Chelsea could face a battle to keep Kevin De Bruyne as Borussia Dortmund are reported to be lining up a summer swoop, according to the Metro.
The Belgian star is impressing while on a season-long loan with Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga and his performances have caught the eye of rival clubs.
Chelsea have ruled out the possibility of another loan deal but De Bruyne has said he has no intention of returning to Stamford Bridge unless he can play regular first-team football.
The Blues will not be able to guarantee that so there is a good chance the player could push for a permanent move with Dortmund ready to pay 17million euros to secure his signature.
Chelsea will wait until they have appointed a new manager to succeed Rafa Benitez before making a decision but there will be no shortage of interest should they agree to sell.
