Both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur could sensationally SHARE Wembley Stadium during the 2017-18 season, according to the Daily Mail.
Each club are reported to want to use the home of English football as a temporary home as they revamp Stamford Bridge and White Hart Lane respectively.
Spurs are said to have already started preparations on creating a new 61,000 seater incarnation of their famous North London home and will need to move for a year between 2017-2018.
Meanwhile the Blues are understood to have offered £15m a year as rent in an exclusive deal as they would need the stadium for around three years between 2017 and 2020.
Though their schedule is not yet finalised, it is understood to be only a ‘couple of steps away.’
While the defending Premier League champions are keen on exclusivity, Spurs are thought to have offered similar money but are more open to the notion of a ground share.
