Chelsea assassin so desperate to leave he’ll consider shock £70m China transfer

According to reports from The Telegraph, Diego Costa is so ‘intent’ on leaving Chelsea this summer that he’ll consider a shock £70million move to the Chinese Super League.

The Spain international has bagged an impressive 35 goals in 71 appearances for the Blues since signing from Atletico Madrid in summer 2014 but remains unsettled in west London and has grown tired of criticism regarding his ill-disciplined style of play.

The Mattress Makers are ready to swoop for their former frontman, who fired them to the La Liga title during his final campaign at Vincente Calderon, but fear that he may be out of their price range for the coming transfer window.

PSG have also been offered the 27-year-old’s services but the strongest interest is coming from the Chinese Super League, who exploded onto the scene with a series of high-profile signings in January and February this year.

A number of Chinese clubs are willing to pay a staggering £70million for Costa and his £185k per week wages would likely be doubled in the Far East. The deal would suit Chelsea as well; they won’t be forced to sell the wantaway forward to a European rival, whilst pocketing more than enough to sign a worthy replacement.
