Chelsea‘s Jose Mourinho could make a stunning return to Real Madrid, according to super agent, Jorge Mendes.
The Portuguese coach took charge at the Bernabeu in 2010 after a successful period at Inter Milan and enjoyed a great deal of success with Los Blancos.
In his three years in Madrid, the ‘Special One’ guided his team to cup and league success, taking on Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona side at, arguably, the peak of their powers.
However, he eventually left my mutual consent amid, albeit in hostile circumstances, returning to Chelsea at the start of last season.
With his Blues side top of the Premier League and looking strong in all areas Mendes believes it’s unlikely that Mourinho will leave Stamford Bridge soon, but he does see a return to Real Madrid in the future as a possibility:
“Mourinho’s return to Madrid? We must asked Florentino [Perez]. Mourinho is very happy at Chelsea and Perez is happy with Ancelotti.” He is quoted by The Express. “But that’s football and he could return to Real Madrid.”
Mourinho is without a trophy since his Chelsea comeback, yet he could end that silverware drought this season with his side top of the Premier League and level at 1-1 with Liverpool heading into the second leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final clash.
