Just under a week after crashing out of the Champions League, Chelsea look to be turning a lot of their attention to how they can improve in the summer in order to avoid similar heartbreak in Europe.
Jose Mourinho’s Blues are six points clear at the top of the Premier League with a game in hand and have already lifted the Capital One Cup this term, but there must have been something about the loss to Paris Saint-Germain last week and the humiliation at the hands of League One Bradford in the FA Cup that has alarmed the Portuguese coach.
So it’s no surprise to see Chelsea being linked with the world and his wife ever since those two fateful losses. The Blues are still in with a chance of the double because, quite simply, the chances of anyone knocking them off the top of the table between now and May are very, very slim.
So who are the players Mourinho sees as the ones to ensure Chelsea put up a bigger fight for the quadruple next season? Well, here are all the Chelsea stories we’ve covered over the last 24 hours…
