Chelsea have finalised the loan signing of Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato until the end of the season, report BBC Sport.
The 26-year old Brazilian international has finally penned a short-term deal at Stamford Bridge after near enough a month of speculation surrounding a move to England.
Having emerged as one of the most exciting talents in world football around half a decade ago while with AC Milan, injuries and a lack of form have dogged him in recent years.
After moving back to his native Brazil in 2013, a fallout while plying his trade for Corinthians led to a long-term loan spell with Sao Paolo.

However, he has now moved to West London until at least the end of the current campaign, with a view to a permanent move.
‘I am so happy to sign for Chelsea’, revealed the former AC Milan wonderkid. ‘It is a dream for me, I’m looking forward to getting to know my new teammates and cannot wait to play.’
Despite his arrival being met with a certain sense of scepticism after such a lengthy period away from the top level European games, Blues interim boss Guus Hiddink has played down suggestions the move is a gamble.
‘It’s not a gamble. Coming on loan makes it possible to view if he can adapt to the league’, stated the vastly experienced Dutchman.
