Chelsea’s deal for Juan Cuadrado looks set to go through soon with the player having bid an emotional farewell to Fiorentina and travelled to London.
The Colombian has emerged as the Blues’ top transfer target over the course of the past week, and now reports claim that a £23.3m swoop has been agreed with La Viola.
Further to this, manager Vincenzo Montella has revealed that his star winger is likely to join the London club, with Egyptian international Mohamed Salah heading the other way on loan.
And now Cuadrado himself has all but confirmed the deal in Instagram:
“Florence will always be in my heart. The people are extraordinary. The fans full of passion. The Viola launched my career and gave me the opportunity to grow also thanks to a great club and exceptional teammates.
“Now a new journey awaits me. New emotions. New objectives. But always with Florence in my heart. Thank you to everyone! Juan.”
Further to this, Cuadrado and his agent have been photographed in arriving in London, which appears to signal that a deal could be imminent.
