Frank Lampard and John Terry are moved onChelsea are expected to welcome back John Terry and Frank Lampard to the side that takes on Fulham this evening.

The experienced pair were unused in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final loss to Manchester City at Wembley, but interim boss Rafael Benitez is poised to rotate his squad once more as Chelsea’s congested schedule continues with the west London derby.

Blues striker Fernando Torres could also start in a week which will end with Chelsea going to his former club Liverpool, but Ashley Cole (hamstring), his fellow England defender Gary Cahill (knee) and long-term absentee Oriol Romeu (knee) remain out, while Marko Marin is doubtful with a hip injury.

“To manage the squad is part of our job and still we have some legs and some determination to win games,” Benitez revealed.

“We have had a lot of games and we still have nine or 10 games to play. All the squad, all the players will be important. “They (Terry and Lampard) have been important and it has to be the same until the end.

“A lot of players have done a great job and they have to do a great job until the end, all of them.”
