Chelsea & Everton eager to steal Euro 2016 sensation from Southampton

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Southampton striker Graziano Pelle has emerged as a prime transfer target for Chelsea and Everton.

The 30-year-old has consistently impressed since signing from Feyenoord two summers ago, amassing 23 goals in 63 Premier League appearances for the Saints.

And the Italy international’s performances at Euro 2016 – barring his penalty miss against Germany – also caught the eye, netting twice in four appearances.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Azzurri boss Antonio Conte now wants to bring Pelle with him to Chelsea – despite the recent arrival of Michy Batshuayi.

But Everton are also said to be eyeing the 6 foot 4 target man, likely a consequence of former Saints boss Ronald Koeman taking over at Goodison Park last month.

And there is also interest from Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Greenland, who are reportedly willing to pay Pelle a whopping €15million for the next three seasons.

Southampton may feel forced to cash in on the towering striker, with his contract due to expire at the end of next season.
