The Romanian ace, who featured for his national side at EURO 2016 this summer, has emerged as one of the top talents in his homeland in recent seasons.
Indeed, Stanciu hit 14 goals and weighed in with 11 assists last term, albeit his efforts were not enough to guide Steaua to the title.
But, reports claim that he has attracted interest from Chelsea, who are watching him closely.
The 23-year-old, who can play on either flank or as a ‘No.10’, is valued at £6m, making him a bargain option for the Blues, who have already spent in excess of £60m to land N’Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi.
Stanciu is currently in good form and netted both of his side’s goals in their Champions League qualifier against Sparta Prague on Wednesday night.
