Chelsea eye stunning double move for West Ham newbies

Chelsea are plotting a shock move for West Ham’s attacking double act Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho, according to reports from The Sun.

The Blues added big names such as Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Didier Drogba to their ranks last summer after letting Fernando Torres leave, but Jose Mourinho is thought to be unconvinced by the Frenchman, while the Ivorian is now at the back end of a long and successful career.

The Sun now claim that Sakho and Valencia are on his radar – with the latter his favourite of the pair – as he plots for moves at the end of the season, and that Remy could be sold to make way.

The duo arrived from Metz and Pachuca respectively during the last transfer window, and it’s likely that the Hammers would demand at least £20m for them.

Valencia shone at the World Cup and has adapted well to life in England, while Sakho was a left-field signing from Ligue 2 which has paid off thanks to his 10 goals in 14 appearances in the claret and blue.
