The 20-year-old is a creative attacking midfield player who has been praised for his levels of technical ability in the past.

He cost just £3m over the summer, but it’s likely that Chelsea will have to pay ay least £20m to get him to England.

The Blues have a good relationship with Benfica, with the likes of Nemanja Matic, David Luiz and Ramires having all moved to Stamford Bridge from the Estadio de Luz.

Although young, Taslica could be tempted by the move where he would join up with Brazilian compatriots such as the aforementioned Ramires as well as Oscar, Willian and Filipe Luis.
