Chelsea look set for a summer struggle to keep star defender Branislav Ivanovic at Stamford Bridge, with Paris Saint-Germain keen on a £15m deal for the Serbian star, according to reports from The Express.
The French giants knocked the Blues out of the Champions League on away goals last week, and are keen to inflict further pain on Jose Mourinho.
Ivanovic is believed to have impressed Parc des Princes chief Laurent Blanc with his rugged and dependable showings, tempting the Parisians’ chief to chase a deal.
The 31-year-old has been ever-present in the Chelsea team this season, but his age has and contract situation have put his Stamford Bridge future in doubt.
The London club have a policy of offering 30+ players deals of no longer than one-year, and have put a £90,000-per-week offer on the table for the Eastern European, even though Mourinho is asking for them to make an exception.
He’s not yet signed the proposal, and PSG could offer him the security of a long-term deal on a massive salary.
