Chelsea supporters are eager to see the club make a move for Russia star Aleksandr Golovin after his stand-out performance for Russia at the World Cup on Thursday.

The 22-year-old assisted twice before curling in a beautiful late free-kick against Saudi Arabia, the mastermind behind a thumping 5-0 win that ensured the tournament hosts got off to the perfect start.

Saudi Arabia may not have been the strongest competition around, but he showed a maturity and class beyond his years to rise above the World Cup pressure and deliver a performance of the highest calibre.

He has spent the entirety of his career at CSKA Moscow up to this point and had a fine 2017/18 for the Russian outfit, making 38 appearances, scoring seven goals and assisting four times.

Is he the kind of player that Chelsea should be looking at this summer?

Supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it all after Thursday's game...
