Chelsea still have one more game to contest this season, a vital one in fact against London rivals Arsenal in the Europa League final, but that won't stop the relentless off-season rumours from filtering through our news channels and social media feeds - and today there's been a big one making the rounds.

According to social media and Get Italian Football News, Sky Sports Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio is claiming that Maurizio Sarri is in contention to take the vacant Juventus manager's job after Massimiliano Allegri left the Serie A champions, with Frank Lampard supposedly set to take over in south west London.

The Italian manager has led the Blues to a third placed finish with Champions League football secured, and even contested a Carabao Cup final. For many this hasn't been good enough, and stern critics have fired criticism at Sarri for his stubborn and predictable approach to games - these traits seem to outweigh the good work he's done.

With this continued discontent amongst some fans, Sarri is being linked with a move away with club-legend Lampard, the current Derby manager with his own play-off final to prepare for, tipped to replace the Italian.

The Chelsea all-time leading goalscorer will forever be remembered as one of their best ever, but there are a few fans who aren't convinced by the prospect of having him take the managerial hot-seat at Stamford Bridge just yet...
