Chelsea' European exit this week has been immensely damaging to supporters' perception of how good their team are this season, with many now questioning the future direction of the club under Antonio Conte and even starting to lose faith in their best players.

The Blues were on the end of a heavy 3-0 defeat to Barcelona on Wednesday night, knocked out of the UEFA Champions League at the last 16 stage.

With their bid to reach the top four of the English Premier League also in the balance, the reigning title winners have had a difficult second season under the management of Conte.

Fans were hugely frustrated with the performance in the Nou Camp, offering particular criticism to their big name stars like Eden Hazard, who again failed to perform when his side truly needed him to turn it on.

The Belgian has achieved a lot at Stamford Bridge and is arguably one of the best players to play for the club over the last decade, but supporters are now questioning whether he's the man that can help achieve at the elite level.
