England impressively tore apart Montenegro 7-0 on Thursday night to secure their place at Euro 2020, but the performance and goal from one of Chelsea’s most promising players in the 2019/20 campaign has got these fans singing his praises.

Although Harry Kane’s hat-trick may have understandably stolen the headlines, Tammy Abraham’s first goal for the England senior side marks the continuation of a sharp upwards trajectory for the 22-year-old, having now scored 12 goals for club and country so far this season.

This is his first campaign since returning to Chelsea after a highly successful loan spell at Aston Villa during which he scored 26 league goals in their promotion-winning season from the Championship.

On the basis of current form, Abraham’s inclusion in Gareth Southgate’s squad this summer seems assured, but these Chelsea fans were certainly delighted to see their academy graduate get on the scoresheet for the Three Lions.

Here are some of the best reactions following a tweet from the forward’s club after last night’s impressive victory at Wembley over Faruk Hadžibegić’s side.
