According to The Independent, Chelsea could make an attempt to re-sign Nathan Ake from Bournemouth whenever their transfer ban comes to an end.
The Blues were unable to acquire any new players in the summer due to a transfer suspension, which is also in place, as it stands, for the January window.
According to The Independent, though, the capital outfit are confident that they will be successful in their appeal, allowing them to move for new players at the start of 2020.
The report claims that Ake can be re-signed for around £40m due to a clause in the deal that took the Netherlands international to Bournemouth in 2017.
Chelsea are currently short in central defence with David Luiz leaving to join Arsenal on transfer deadline day. Antonio Rudiger, meanwhile, is still not yet ready to return to action following knee surgery.
There are a number of Chelsea fans who would welcome Ake back to the club – others, though, are against the deal.

We don’t need this mediocre signing

Sorry, bang average mid table CB. I wish him all the best for his career but elite defensive reinforcements are required if we want to continually finish top 6.

This is perfect because he never should have been sold in the first place. I always rated him
Ake has developed into a solid CB.
