Chelsea got their bid to finish in the top four of the English Premier League back on track on Saturday with a 2-1 victory at home to Crystal Palace.
After two consecutive defeats to Manchester United and Manchester City, victory was hugely important and the Blues delivered with two first half goals that the Eagles didn’t have a reply for until the closing minutes of the game.
Fans were pleased with the win but did still find some problems with the performance, most notably the display from defender Andreas Christensen.
The Danish international made another defensive error that led to a goalscoring opportunity for the opposition, something that’s happened a few times over the last couple of months.
Fans are worried about his confidence levels and many feel he should be dropped or rested in upcoming matches to allow him to come back into the team with renewed purpose.
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his Saturday performance…
Christensen needs to stop making little mistakes that are so close to our own goal and Giroud just stick it in the net lad stop pussyfooting #CFC

There’s no doubt Christensen is playing with nervousness, just needs to get the simple things right and all will be good again. #CFC

Andreas Christensen – since making that mistake against Barcelona, I feel you have let the pressure from the media get to you as mistakes against City, United and Palace.
You are probably the most composed baller in the defence, it is time to focus and regain that form. #Believe
