Michy Batshuayi joined Chelsea from Marseille in the summer of 2016, but he has struggled to secure a regular spot in the team.

In fact, the striker has started just four Premier League games for the West London outfit.

The Belgium international spent a chunk of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and he is currently on a temporary deal at Valencia.

Before getting struck down with injury, the 24-year-old - valued at £36m by Transfermarkt - scored nine goals and created one assist in 14 matches for Dortmund.

So far this season, Batshuayi has made six appearances for Valencia, and he made his first La Liga start on Wednesday night.

The match against Celta Vigo ended in a 1-1 draw, and the on-loan Chelsea striker ended up nabbing the goal.

On Twitter, some Chelsea fans reacted by calling on manager Maurizio Sarri to bring Batshuayi back to Stamford Bridge and play him instead of Alvaro Morata, who has scored just once this season.

Others believe that the Belgian is also a better option than second-string striker Olivier Giroud.
