Chelsea fans on Twitter have been blasting their club over a dodgy Man of the Match Tweet after the UEFA Europa League victory against Slavia Prague on Thursday night.

The post from the Blues included Olivier Giroud, Eden Hazard, Mateo Kovacic and Pedro in a four-man poll allowing supporters to vote for their best player on the evening.

However, members of the Stamford Bridge faithful were far from impressed by the names included in the wake of the result that saw them embarrassingly concede three times at home to a far inferior team, leading to much criticism.

One claimed that half of the stars shouldn't have been involved in the MOTM running while another suggested that it should have been a question of player of the first half and not the match, such was the Jekyll and Hyde nature of the overall performance from Maurizio Sarri's men.

Comments such as "no one" and those proclaiming that the Man of the Match should have come from the opposing side were also flying around the Twittersphere after the ill-fated post.
