Billy Gilmour has already had his first taste of Premier League football despite being just 18 years of age.
The Scotland Under-21 international was brought on towards the end of Chelsea’s game against Sheffield United to make his debut and, although the Blues were unable to hold on to their 2-0 lead before ending up with a 2-2 draw, it was surely a memorable experience for the midfielder.
Should Tammy Abraham look to emulate the Arsenal legend in the video below rather than his idol Didier Drogba?…
Unfortunately, the teenager picked up an injury while away with the Tartan Army this week, and it has not yet been determined for how long he will be unavailable. However, there is some good news for the former Rangers midfielder.
It was confirmed by the Stamford Bridge outfit on Thursday that Gilmour has signed a new contract with the club that ties him to the side until 2023.
The Blues fans have been reacting to the news, and they appear ecstatic with the update.
They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments below.
