Chelsea fans are delighted to see Callum Hudson-Odoi progress well with his recovery from an Achilles injury.

The winger made a positive impact in the Blues' first-team during the second half of last season, winning a regular place in Maurizio Sarri's team selections and finishing up with 29 appearances to his name.

The teenager scored four goals and assisted three times between January and April before suffering a season-ending injury in action against Burnley at Stamford Bridge.

Requiring surgery to fix the issue, the player will likely miss much, if not all, of pre-season too.

The 18-year-old posted a positive update on Sunday though, letting fans know that his recovery is going well and that he hopes to be on the pitch soon.

With Chelsea unable to sign players during this transfer window, subject to appeal, homegrown talents like Hudson-Odoi are likely to be important members of the squad next season.

Stamford Bridge supporters are eager to see him back in the team as soon as possible, taking to Twitter on Sunday to share their thoughts...
