It's been a long time coming, but we are finally starting to see the rewards of Chelsea's heavy investment in their youth set-up.

So far this season, seven players to play for the club's development squads have featured for the Blues' senior team, and now their form has been recognised on the international stage.

England manager Gareth Southgate revealed his squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers for the matches against the Czech Republic and Bulgaria on Thursday, and four of Frank Lampard's team were included - more than any other club.

Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and Ross Barkley were those selected.

Considering Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James have recently returned from serious injuries and Ruben Loftus-Cheek is still on the sidelines, there is no reason why there won't be an even higher number of men from the Stamford Bridge outfit in Three Lions squads in the future.

The Chelsea fans were clearly delighted with the announcement, and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
