Tuttosport have released the final shortlist of 20 for their prestigious Golden Boy award.

The accolade is given to the best player aged 20 or under each year, with last year’s winner being the Netherlands and Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt. He has once again been included this year, alongside the likes of Jadon Sancho, Kai Havertz and Joao Felix.

From a Chelsea perspective, Mason Mount is the sole Blues representative. However, it comes as a little bit of a surprise that Callum Hudson-Odoi has not earned a place as well.

Last term, he netted five goals and provided five assists in 23 competitive outings, made his England debut, and has carried on in a similar vein of form this term, scoring once and providing three assists in his first four games.
