According to The Mirror, Chelsea are one of three Premier League clubs interested in signing West Bromwich Albion forward Salomon Rondon in this summer’s transfer window.
Rondon will leave West Brom this summer following their relegation to the Championship, and it is understood that the striker will be available for £16m due to a release clause.
West Ham United have been credited with an interest in the Venezuela international, whilst Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be in the hunt.
Rondon scored 10 times in 40 appearances for West Brom last season – including seven Premier League goals in 36 appearances, which is a solid record for a team that were relegated from the top flight.
Chelsea will not play Champions League football next season, and therefore the Blues might well find it difficult to compete for the very best players that become available in this summer’s market.
Rondon could turn out to be a smart signing for Chelsea, but it appears that the club’s supporters are entirely against the deal going through ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

Chelsea? Morata, Giroud and Rondon. Gonna get at least 12 goals among them next season.
