Chelsea still have a chance of finishing in the top four of the English Premier League after a 1-0 win at home to Liverpool on Sunday.
Olivier Giroud’s first half goal secured a crucial three points against the Reds and sees Antonio Conte’s side move to within a point of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with two games remaining.
After a lacklustre season, sneaking into a UEFA Champions League qualifying position would be a fantastic result for the Blues.
Fans were impressed with the result and performance, offering particular praise to midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko who put in an assured display in the heart of the Chelsea midfield.
The 23-year-old has had a difficult debut season at Stamford Bridge and has faced criticism from fans previously for under-par performances.
However, a few more matches like Sunday’s and he will soon become a fan favourite.
Supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts during and after the match…
That was the Bakayoko we were expecting in the summer. Confident, dominant, and commanding. He has the potential to be superb for us. A very promising display! #CFC

Great to be heading into the final week of the season with positivity. Desire shown by the whole team with Bakayoko and Rudiger especially strong 👏 Let's keep the momentum up, sneak fourth, and win the FA Cup 😎🔵 #CFC
