Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has added a bit of spice to Saturday's clash against Chelsea by questioning the club's conduct.

In an interview with The London Evening Standard, the 69-year-old spoke of Cardiff's desire to sign Tammy Abraham in the summer.

He revealed that he spoke to Chelsea regarding a season-long loan, but in the end the striker opted to drop down into the Championship to play for Aston Villa.

Warnock claimed that he did not receive any contact from the Blues informing him that Abraham would not be moving to the Welsh outfit.

"It might have been because our deadline was three weeks before the Championship’s. Perhaps they weren’t sure at the time and then he ends up leaving at the end of the month, when only a move to a Championship club is possible. But even then, a phone call would have been better and shown a bit of class."

After the experienced manager criticised Chelsea's handling of the situation, some fans have taken to Reddit to post their thoughts on the remarks.
