There is no doubt that Chelsea have plenty of impressive youth talent in their ranks, but for the most part they struggle to break into the first team.

One of the Blues' current teens - Reece James - is out on loan at Championship outfit Wigan Athletic.

The 18-year-old was picked up by the Blues in 2005 and in the summer he penned a four-year contract with them before moving to the DW Stadium on loan.

James has played regularly for Wigan, featuring in all 16 of their league games so far.

The right-back has played a full 90 minutes on 14 occasions, and on Sunday he scored in Wigan's 2-1 defeat to Leeds United.

Even though it was not the desired result, it was a positive game for James as his goal came from a stunning free kick.

On Twitter, plenty of Chelsea fans took note of the teen and were full of praise for his performance at the DW Stadium.
