Chelsea fans looking forward to FA Cup semi-final vs Southampton
Chelsea and Southampton are set to meet in the FA Cup finals in late April at Wembley stadium after both sides managed to get the job done in the quarters on Sunday.
The Blues had a tough test away to Leicester City that required extra-time, while Southampton faced lower league opposition in the form of plucky Wigan Athletic, who knocked out Manchester City in the last round.
For Chelsea, it’s their last chance to win major silverware this season after seeing their title bid go off the rails months ago before exiting the UEFA Champions League just last week.
The Blues will fancy their chances against the Premier League strugglers, though know that basically anything can, and often does, happen at Wembley.
Chelsea emerged as 1-0 winners the last time the two sides met in December and they’re due to face-off in league action just a week prior to their Wembley cup clash.
